GSKi is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to support its growing work across fundraising, proposal development, communications, administration, partnerships, volunteer coordination, and event management.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in the non-profit sector while contributing to meaningful projects and community-focused initiatives that directly impact the lives of vulnerable children across Nigeria.

- Location Ado Ekiti, Ilawe Ekiti (Ekiti State) & Ogun State
- Stipend Unpaid (grant application assistance provided)

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Research
Identify new funding prospects — including trusts, foundations, and major donors in Nigeria — and support outreach to potential funders.
Proposal Writing
Develop funding proposals for support and collaboration, drawing on knowledge of GSKi's previous, current, and upcoming projects.
Marketing & Communications
Promote local and international events, support communications activities, and assist with website updates.
Administrative Support
Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks that support the smooth running of GSKi's activities.
Business Development
Help build, manage, and strengthen collaborations and partnerships with organisations, companies, and other stakeholders.
Volunteer & Event Management
Support the volunteer network, assist with recruitment, contribute to planned events, and help develop new event ideas.

Requirements

Relevant Areas of Study
- Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
- International Relations or Development Studies
- Human Rights or Global Affairs
- Economics, Business, or related disciplines
- Other relevant fields also welcome — this list is not exhaustive.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional telephone and email manner.
- Strong command of English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the web, social media, and Microsoft Office.
- A letter of recommendation from previous professional experience is an advantage.
