Our 3R's Intervention
We make use of the 3R’S in intervening for the street children, which are; RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND REUNION
We run recruitment activities at the streets and rescue the children and house them at our rehabilitation home, give them opportunity to go to school and for those who had not gone to school and have grown up we enrol them in a vocational training school as they go through the rehabilitation process and afterwards as they graduate, we reunite them back home with their families as we support them from home.
The children who have been re-integrated back home from the street, are rescued from the street and are rehabilitated. GLOBAL SUPPORT FOR KIDS’ INITIATIVE encourages them to be a better person also to be useful to their families and the society at large.
GSK Initiative provides that when these children are taking back home, those whom parents are not financially buoyant, the organization also help in setting up the parents so it can be easier for them to feed the children. Proper monitoring is done on the children so as to make sure they don’t go back to the street again.
