August 19th 2024 being Monday in honor of GSKi Week that focuses on end to violence against children. Staff and volunteers from the Global Support for Kids Initiative (GSKi) Nigeria actively participated in community service and public awareness activities at Kuto Market in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The team took advantage of the fact that it was the Market day in Kuto and reached out to a large number of market men and women, together with many buyers, who were enlightened on the crucial issues of child abuse and drug abuse and also informing them to report all cases of abuses to the organization for immediate actions.
The outreach allowed the organization to reach an array of audiences from different parts of the city. The day was concluded by GSKi staff and volunteers giving back to the society by cleaning the market and the refuse disposal area, hence upholding the organization’s position in cleaner environment for societal well-being.
