19 years old OBOT GLORY ENIOLA who studied Science Laboratory Technology at Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti just completed her Ordinary National Diploma (OND) on the 15th November, 2022.
GLORY who is one of Global Support for Kids Initiative Orphan and Vulnerable (OVC) beneficiary has being on a full sponsorship program since 26th May,2017 when she was in JSS2 till she completed her OND.
She hails from Akwa- Ibom state, after the separation of her parent and death of her mother at a tender age made her start living with her aged maternal grandmother at Erio- Ekiti, who is not financially buoyant to pay her tuition fee and provide her academic needs. This led to a hindrance in her academic pursuit as she could not concentrate well and being sidelined in school.
Glory who is known to be a brilliant student at Edu High School Erio- Ekiti was introduced to Global Support for Kids Initiative by one of her teachers. Hearing her pathetic story and going through her previous academic records, GSK initiative observed she is a brilliant girl who needed help to achieve her goals in life. The organization swing to action paid her school fee also bought all educational materials to aid her learning and supported her grandmother financially in order to feed. In the year 2020, she wrote her SSCE/ WAEC and came out in flying colors, GSK INITIATIVE continues the payment of her tuition fee, accommodation fee, clothing, feeding and also giving her monthly stipend for upkeep till she completed her OND.
